# Can children do salt therapy?

## Answer

Many salt caves welcome children. Minimum age, whether a parent stays, and whether there are kid-specific hours vary by house — this magazine will not invent one age for the country.

What is consistent: a shared salt room is quiet. A child who cannot yet rest for half an hour will have a better time at a private booking or a family hour, not in a room of napping strangers. Socks, no snacks on the salt, no perfume, no devices.

If your child has asthma, allergies, or another condition, that is a **pediatrician** conversation before it is a cave conversation. Salt therapy is not a stand-in for their inhaler or their specialist.

Ask the house their policy. If you want a trusted house, Ask the owner and say you are coming with children.
