## Answer

On January 5, 2021, Angelina lost her son **Chris**, thirty-one, after a cascade that began with kidney stones, over-the-counter medicine, fear of the ER during COVID, and a hospital system that would not facilitate a live-liver donor transplant even though her liver was available. She has told that story on the magazine’s America Healthy Again pages. It is not décor.

The sentence this house will stand behind: the sooner we reach, teach, and impact how to live smarter, healthier, and happier, the sooner we change the trajectory of lives — and reduce the wellness-ignorance mortality rate. Chris is why that is not a slogan.
