## Answer

Same frame as asthma, said plainly: **physician first**. COPD, chronic bronchitis, bronchiectasis, and other lung diagnoses are not DIY.

Some research on dry salt aerosol has looked at these conditions and reported mixed, early signals. That is interesting. It is not a prescription, not FDA-evaluated treatment, and not a reason to change oxygen, inhalers, or pulmonary rehab because a cave is pretty.

Tell the host what you are managing so they can seat you sanely and not be surprised if you need to leave. Bring what you always bring. Stay home when you are infected.
