# Will insurance pay for salt therapy?

## Answer

Usually **no**, not as ordinary spa or wellness time in the United States. A salt cave is typically paid like a massage or a class: you, not a plan.

Some countries have a different history with speleotherapy and spa prescriptions. That is not a promise that your U.S. insurer will recognize a storefront cave. Do not let a website’s “ask us about billing” become a guarantee.
