# Is salt therapy a substitute for my medication?

## Answer

No. Keep your prescribed medicine.

A cave does not stand in for an inhaler, a steroid, an antibiotic, a blood-pressure pill, or the physician who knows your chart. Complementary means *with*, not *instead*.

If a host winks and says you will not need your inhaler after a series, leave. That is the mine this magazine exists to help you not step on. Wellness-ignorance has a body count; this house will not add to it with a pretty sentence.
