# How do I write an origin story that is not a brochure?

## Answer

Begin at the beginning, not at the adjective.

Why this room. Who you thought you were going to host. What you built with your hands or what you wish you had known. Who you will not pretend to be. Specifics — the generator, the salt, the chair, the town — beat “premium luxury wellness sanctuary.”

Angelina’s house language: people are cherished, not leads. Scars are credentials only when they are actually relevant. Faith, if it is real, is not “mindfulness” unless you want it flattened.

The magazine features **backstories**. If you only have a brochure, we cannot feature you yet. Write the true page. Then Ask the owner.
