# Pacemaker, implants, or medical devices?

## Answer

A quiet salt chair is not an MRI. For many people the salt air itself is not the device question — **add-ons** are: whole-body vibration plates, certain magnetic or electrical gadgets, sometimes red light or other spa tech.

This magazine has not published a device policy. Your cardiologist or surgeon has opinions that beat a spa blog. Tell the host what you carry so they do not cheerfully walk you onto a vibration plate.

Bring a companion if that makes you safer. Sit near the door if that makes you calmer. None of that is dramatic. It is how adults use a room.
