# How do I choose salt types without copying someone else’s manifesto?

## Answer

Separate three jobs: **hopper**, **floor**, **walls**.

Pharmaceutical-grade NaCl in the generator is industry-typical because the machine wants dry, known sodium chloride. Floor salt is tactile and visual — sea, Himalayan, something else — and is a reason you should be able to say in a sentence. Walls are mostly acoustics and photographs.

Angelina’s own house uses Baja Gold on the floor and not Himalayan, with reasons she will tell in *that* barn. Copying her manifesto without her geology is costume.

Write your reasons. If you do not have reasons yet, say “we have not finished deciding” instead of inventing a lab.
