# Why should I share my city or region?

A **city or region** lets Angelina think of a *person* she actually knows — or honestly say she does not have one there yet. “Near me” is not a place. “Portland,” “the Gorge,” “outside Atlanta,” “visiting Santa Fe in October” are places.

Add what matters: kids, private versus shared, first time, opening a cave yourself, traveling from a cruise, a medical question you already took to a doctor. Short is enough.
