# How is a salt room different from a sauna?

## Answer

A **sauna** is heat — traditional, infrared, whatever the house runs. You sweat. Your cardiovascular system notices. A typical **salt room** is **cool and dry** so the aerosol stays airborne. You recline. You do not perform heat.

People stack them in a wellness center: sauna then salt, or the reverse. That is two climates. Heart, pregnancy, and blood-pressure questions get louder with heat than with a cool chair — still ask your physician, still do not invent a combo protocol here.

If you wanted to sweat, say so and book heat. If you wanted to breathe and rest, book salt. If you wanted both, ask the house how they sequence them.
