# May I bring water into the salt room?

## Answer

Ask the house. Many prefer bottles **outside** the salt room: less spill, less plastic on the floor, less clink in a quiet hour. Some private bookings allow a closed bottle. Almost nobody wants a latte on the salt.

Hydration belongs after as much as during. If you need water at hand for a medical reason, say so — hosts can usually make a human exception.

This magazine will not write a national bottle policy. Spill salt is a pain to reset. Treat the floor as their craft, not a beach picnic.
