# Why do curated referrals matter if I already have a Google listing?

## Answer

Because guests already ask **this** magazine where to go, and we will not answer with a pin.

Google will send tired people to whoever bid. We will send them, when we can, to a house Angelina will put her name on. That is a different guest — often a more careful one, often one who read first.

If you want to be in that circle, **be known**. Tell the true beginning. Participate as the site describes. Do not pay a stranger for a fake review and then ask why the magazine is slow.

Soft, not a scam: there is no countdown. There is a filter. Filters are how seekers stop stepping on mines.
