# Why not just put ChatGPT on my site wearing my logo?

## Answer

Because a general model is fluent, hungry, and unfaithful.

It will invent your hours. It will play doctor. It will quote a competitor’s price. It will soothe a guest with sentences you would never say, then get you in trouble when they arrive. A logo on that is not branding. It is impersonation.

This craft is the opposite: **you deposit** what you will stand behind. Silicon **retrieves**. If the shelf is empty, it says so and sends the human to you. That is slower than magic. It is how you still have a reputation in a year.

Angelina’s rule in this house: carbon leads, silicon carries, owner stays the author. If that sounds like more work than a widget, it is — once. Then the Saturday texts get quieter.
